Snus vs cigarettes

I used to smoke cigarettes. I used to smoke a lot. That always got me into trouble. At the place were I used to work I was the only smoker. And you can imagine that my smoking breaks were not very popular. If we were having long conferences I always had trouble concentrating after a while due to my smoking habit and the fact that I could not smoke. Of course the non smokers that surrounded me had little sympathy for my tobacco cravings.

When we were traveling it was the same thing. Several hours on a plane are quite troubling for a smoker. And again there were no sympathy from my fellow co-workers. Long dinner parties were also difficult for me to attend since I had trouble being without cigarettes for such a long time. The same thing happened when I was at a pub or a bar where smoking wasn’t allowed.

But one day I could leave all of these problems behind me. It was the day I discovered snus. We were going in to a meeting and a newly employed person called Anna was going to attend the meeting. At the conference table just before the meeting started she pick up a small blue can from her purse, opened the lid and pulled something out and put it in her mouth. I could see that she was adjusting what ever it was she had put in there with her tongue. It was of course a portion snus she had put in her mouth.

After the meeting I asked her what it was and she told med that it was snus. In fact she told me that it was Göteborgs Rapé Mini White Portion. She showed it to me and asked if I wanted to try it which of course I wanted. And since that day I have never gone back to cigarettes.

But I still wanted to cut down my tobacco intake. Luckily there was a snus product that was perfect for that and that product is nicotine and tobacco free snus. Some of these products have really helped me to cut down on nicotine. I still use snus, but now a limit my nicotine intake to a level that I choose myself.
